2026 International Conference on Building Science, Materials Engineering and Sustainability
(ICBSMES 2026)
Welcome to ICBSMES 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Building Science, Materials Engineering and Sustainability (ICBSMES 2026) will be held from December 29 to 31, 2026, at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA.
ICBSMES 2026 will provide an international forum for researchers, engineers, architects, materials scientists, environmental specialists, and industry professionals to exchange new findings and practical experience in building science, materials engineering, and sustainable development.
Against the backdrop of climate change, resource constraints, and the low-carbon transformation of the construction sector, the conference will examine the growing connections among building performance, engineering materials, environmental design, and sustainability. Major topics will include advanced construction materials, green building technologies, low-carbon construction, energy-efficient buildings, structural safety and resilience, life-cycle assessment, circular construction, and the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the built environment.
Through keynote speeches, technical sessions, paper presentations, and interdisciplinary discussions, ICBSMES 2026 seeks to encourage cooperation across architecture, civil engineering, materials science, environmental engineering, and digital construction. Scholars, engineers, students, policymakers, and industry representatives from around the world are warmly invited to participate.

Plagiarism Policy & Publication Ethics

ICBSMES 2026 is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity. Before entering peer review, every submission will be screened using Crossref Similarity Check, powered by iThenticate, to identify potentially unoriginal or improperly attributed content.
Similarity reports will be examined by the Conference Scientific Committee. A similarity score alone does not constitute proof of plagiarism; each case will be assessed according to its context. Confirmed plagiarism, duplicate publication, unauthorised reuse, or serious citation misconduct may result in rejection, withdrawal, or removal from the proceedings at any stage.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original, properly referenced, and compliant with accepted research and publication ethics. Further information is available from Crossref Similarity Check.
